Research unites the roles of artist and teacher, elevating both. As an artist, creation is about processing emotions, interpreting the world, and presenting insights in ways that resonate with others. In teaching, it’s about understanding the learning process, asking the right questions, and embracing the unknown.
What empowers both artists and educators is not having all the answers, but the ongoing pursuit of discovery. Through research, we stay in a state of growth, continuously refining our practice and sharing new insights with our communities.

In my career so far, I have got to engage in research through academic writing, exploring inclusive education and innovative uses of AI and technology in the classroom. Personally I am excited by community, history and the spirit of the land! Being a social creature with this permission to learn, I have began to commingle with a diverse range of experts—artists, historians, genealogists, archaeologists, community leaders, and educators—whose insights deeply inform both my artistic and educational practices.
