A/r/tographary
A/r/tography is a hybrid research methodology and performative pedagogy that emphasizes the three positions artist (a), researcher (r) and teacher (t), and how they are entangled and have agency on one another.
Hailing from County Kilkenny, I am a passionate artist, researcher, and educator. In 2025, I earned a Bachelor of Education in Art & Design from the Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD). I has a diverse range of experience, having worked as a youth worker with Ossory Youth in Kilkenny, as a workshop facilitator with Limerick Printmakers and Rothe House. Currently, I am exploring my passion for theatre as creative director with Core Productions.

I am excited by rural Ireland; its traditions, ancient sites, artefacts and etymology. I like to exalt them within a modern context. Horses often appear in my work as a reflection of my own experience—they serve as a mirror to humanity in an increasingly urbanised world. While I thrive on the energy of cities, human interaction, and the complexities of social dynamics, I also long for the sense of community, or “herd,” that seems increasingly out of reach. Modernity has excelled us but also stunted us. Figuring out how to braid the values of “then and now”, is what is central to my work.

I explore these themes through an interdisciplinary approach, constantly experimenting with new materials and techniques. My process moves fluidly between painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and installation. Recently, I have begun incorporating unconventional materials, like bio-plastics, to push the boundaries of my practice.
