This 10 weeks project was very ambitious but puppet making is my greatest interest, especially when it comes to mechanisms to make them move! To help the second years be successful planning and preparatory work on my behalf was paramount, such as making templates having the correct materials that were sturdy, but manageable to cut. I provided a wide range of exciting materials and fabrics for the students which really inspired their animals designs, pushing them to see beyond depicting the animal in a realistic or typical way. The most extraordinary thing about this project was that out of 46 students, not a single person was unsuccessful!
